Hello everyone! this is and this is a club that I've created for myself and friends to encourage challenges from week to week to help better a person's style. I am hoping that this club will work and help everyone to develop while also seeing what other people do when posed with the same challenge.

you can interpret it anyway. if you would like, you can do BOTH prompts, or old prompts. ^^ this is about you!


***It's been mentioned by a few members that they have trouble achieving a prompt in one week, NO WORRIES. you can post on a past challenge at any time you feel inspired. You also don't have to post. this is about you and what you have time to work on. ^^ ***


How does it work?
Every week to two weeks, I will do a grab bag selection from a list of genres, terms, and categories. I will then Post two themes, so if one does not appeal to a person, the other might. Members are then encouraged to attempt the prompt or theme in whatever means they feel they can accomplish it.

You do not have to draw everyweek. You can create in other means. Sewing, Photography, and writing are other means of completing the prompt. Be creative.

You also do not have to participate every week. This is a personal challenge for anyone who wishes to take it. If you are busy, don't worry about the challenge, come back when you think you can.

PLEASE do not bash other members or their work. A member may ask for Constructive Crit, but the Critique should be done in such a matter that is professional. I believe in the Critique policy or praise then Improve. say what you like, then what you would like to see worked on. If a member remains negative to another, you will be removed from the club.

How do i join?
Simply Note the club with the subject line "Join Challenge"
I will add you to the friends/watch list and include your icon in the Journal under members. Once you join, you will be able to participate in challenges.

how do i submit my submission?
Send either a note to the club with your submission and the theme you worked on or an email to the club. I will then upload the pic to the gallery with the other submissions so that you can see what everyone else did.

GOAL
this club should keep you working on things and helping you discover and improve upon your own work. Someone else might draw something you never considered for the prompt. Don't beat yourself up about this, look at it as a new approach and grow from it. ^^
